MJST is now indexed in Scopus

The effort of Mindanao Journal of Science and Technology (MJST) and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) to publish original and high-quality research manuscripts has just been paid off as the journal has recently added another feather in its cap – its inclusion in Scopus. Scopus is one of the largest databases of high impact, peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

MJST was suggested for inclusion in this database on April 12, 2019. A few days after, the MJST editorial team complied and submitted all the requirements. It was on August 17 that the editorial team received a notification from the Scopus database’s title evaluation team, saying that MJST is accepted for inclusion in Scopus.

Aside from Scopus, MJST is also indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) under Web of Science Core Collection of Clarivate Analytics, ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), and Philippine E-Journals (PEJ). It is also recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in its Journal Incentive Program (JIP).

These feats in ten years are manifestations of our efforts in upholding to the highest publishing standards.
